wweather1 takes a minimal-data approach.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex.Metrica for aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics. These load on every page from the first visit and set analytics cookies; the cookie banner is informational — pressing "Accept" only hides it. We do not embed advertising networks and do not sell personal data; IP anonymization is enabled where supported.

Cookies we set ourselves

• Theme (ww1-theme) — your dark/light choice.
• Measurement units (°C/°F) (ww1-unit) — your °C/°F choice.
• Cookie notice (ww1-cookie-ok) — remembers that you closed the banner.
• Favourite cities (ww1-favs) — stored only in your browser, never sent to us.
• Notification prompt (ww1-push-state) — remembers that you postponed the push offer (so we don't ask again for 3 months).

Browser notifications (push)

If you subscribe on a city page, we send one short forecast notification per day at 17:00 local time of that city. Subscription is voluntary; unsubscribe any time in your browser settings or via the bell icon. We store only the anonymous push token and the chosen city — no name, no email.

Personal data

The contact form asks for a name and email only so we can reply; we use them for nothing else and do not share them. Otherwise we store no personal data beyond what your browser sends in a standard HTTP request.
